Job Description
Terrapin is looking for an Inventory Assistant to join our growing company. As a Clinton County, Pennsylvania - based cannabis company, Terrapin is a pioneer in the emerging industry. Terrapin is a cultivator and processor of high-quality medical and recreational cannabis products as well as 3 retail dispensary locations. With over 15 years of industry experience, Terrapin was licensed to operate in the Pennsylvania marketplace in 2017, growing to more than 180 employees. Retail expansion plans in Pennsylvania have created a need for an Inventory Assistant.
This position will support our Pennsylvania Operations. The candidate will perform a wide inventory and light accounting activities for these departments to facilitate efficient operations. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, a critical thinker and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Duties and Responsibilities
- Retrieve and maintain documents from the electronic filing system in an organized manner.
- Perform accurate data entry tasks across various platforms.
- Draft and send emails to teams and departments on behalf of management.
- Consolidate and reconcile data from multiple platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Receipts.
- Create and manage item records across various platforms.
- Costing and production annalysis
- Assist in sourcing quotes for new equipment and/or software programs.
- Coordinate the tracking of orders and monitor delivery schedules.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance interdepartmental processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the organization in a positive, proactive manner.
- Manage ad hoc projects, prioritize conflicting tasks, and handle constant interruptions effectively.
- Ensure timely completion of both short- and long-term requests.
- Perform any other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Three to five years of relevant inventory or related experience.
- Experience in providing support across multiple departments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and SAP B1.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- A clean driving record for the past two years (MVR check will be conducted if an offer is extended).
- Current State Mandated Badge or Background Check.
